We bought a papasan today!!

My mom and I promised each other that we would not buy any more baby clothes.  We haven’t been TOO good at that.  Though, she’s way worse than I am ((though I’m not complaining)).  At any rate, I had to buy this outfit.  It was too cute, and I’m lacking in newborn clothing…. So alas.

This is the most updated picture we have of Poppy. This is probably one of the best pictures we’ll have until she arrives. If you can tell it’s actually just of her nose and mouth… WAY up close.

So Monday I went to the OB and heard the heartbeat.  It was strong and Poppy is good to go.

On wednesday I had to go to the Specialist for Poppy, and they attempted to take some good pictures, but She just wasn’t willing to move around, and pose.  So sad.  We got a few pics, that I will upload later.  We saw her lips and nose… super cute, and while we got that picture she yawned.  LoL, so adorable!  At any rate, the final outcome of the appointment is that Poppy is perfect!  So I know longer have to go to the specialist — which sucks, in that we get the best ultrasound pictures, but great since Poppy is “perfect”.  How exciting!!

While we were leaving the specialist, there was another chicka that was leaving.  She was having a 7 lb baby boy!!  And she still had a month left!!!!  Oy vey… I kind of hope that she has a c-section.  Man… that’s a big baby.  Oh! Poppy seed is current 1 lb and 6 oz.  :D  So awesome how they can tell the weight of the baby, by just looking at, and measuring parts… I don’t really get it, but alas.  The tech showed me her “perfect 4 chamber heart”, and told me that I had beautiful ovaries.  LoL, it was quite funny.

Anyway, that’s all for now.  More pictures to upload… also I’ll post pictures of the nursery!!!

Not much has happened since my last update.  Baby is doing well with a strong heart beat.  The docs say I should start feeling movement soon, so I’m looking forward to that – I think.  Wes got to go to his first OB appointment — he got to hear the heart beat!

Mom and I have been buying clothes… I know we aren’t supposed to, so we have said that from now on, if we buy anything, (besides necessities like hangers for all the clothes) it has to be books.  Tuesday we went shopping for Maternity clothes…. something I am not excited about.  I just feel fat… I think it’ll be easier once I feel the baby move, but who knows.  Anyway, Old Navy had a lot of maternity clothes that weren’t ugly, and didn’t make me feel huge-mongous.  So I got some stuff from there, and from JC Pennys.

Dad got all of the bead board for the baby’s room.  :D  I can’t wait to start working on it, but we have to clean the studio first.  Adam and Ronni are coming down from Chicago to work on it with Mom.

And man, just lately I can feel a major difference in my hormones!!!  And I don’t really like the ups/downs.

And last but not least, I’m starting to work on some scrapbooking pages.  :D  I’ll put some pictures up when I finish one.
