Wow, woops!
It’s been a LONG while, sorry about that. I really have no excuse. Lets recap:
Early May (1 May to be exact) – Marino family threw me a baby shower for the ‘adults,’ which consisted mostly of my grandma’s friends, mom’s friends, and Wes’ family. It was great, and I received a lot of great presents — clothes being many of the gifts. This was also the first time my family met Wes’ family. It worked out well, and was quite fun. They ended up coming over the next night for a family dinner… and pool. =D All was good.
Middle of May – Did a lot of helping with Mallory’s wedding, which was on the 30th of May. Continued to go to many doctors appointments, and ended up in the hospital. My blood pressure, which is generally very low (110s/70s) was extremely high: 160/90 (or so). So we went to the Labor and Delivery hospital and was tested, poked, and prodded. Ended up going back and forth to the hospital a few times that week, having to do 24 hour urine samples, and fetal monitoring. Lola was just not cooperating, although nothing was wrong with her, she just didn’t wanna help me out.
June 5th – Gina had my ‘kids’ shower with all of my Kennesaw/GA State friends. I was EXTREMELY excited about this shower, because I hadn’t seen a lot of my friends for a LONG time, if not a year. From all the hospital visits and such, I was put on Bed Rest, so I had to stay seated for a lot of the shower, but it was still a lot of fun, and great to see my friends. Definitely a lift in my bed-rest-lifestyle.
Now I”m just coolin’ my jets, going to at least 3+ doctors appointments per week, and bed-resting the rest of the time. The doctors said that she probably won’t make it full term, and that she’ll come 2-3 weeks early…. I’m not all together too disappointed.
We still have a few more things to buy for the nursery, otherwise I think we’re as ready as we are going to be… :/ I’m nervous, but quite excited!! Been reading up on my breast feeding information, and what happens during/after birth. CRAZY.
Ok, more later, including pictures, which I have tons of that I have yet to put up… my bad!

Little Poppy seed got a few presents already!! How exciting! He (my assumption of the sex) got a cute
little froggy with blankets: See how cute!? He also got some plates, of which he won’t be able to use for a year or so – ha! and I think that’s about it. So cute!
